Chapter 493 Sharing a Bed Is Okay Too~

g that middle-aged cultivator hastily flee, 陸琳琳 gave a sweet smile and said, "Young Master, with us accompanying you, you don't need to worry about being cheated."郝仁 smiled back; indeed, having 陸琳琳 an...Chapter 793: A Perfect Conclusion (Grand Finale)

After leaving the valley, Hao Ren and Little White returned to the first heaven, then came back to Brooklyn in New York.

Entering the room through the window, Hao Ren removed the red barrier, messed up his bed as if he had slept there all night.

Soon enough, Hao Zhonghua knocked on the door.

"Ren, are you awake" Hao Zhonghua called out.

"Just got up!" Hao Ren yawned and opened the door.

Hao Zhonghua's gaze passed over Hao Ren's shoulder, checking Hao Ren’s bed before scanning his expression. "Yujia's mom has made breakfast. Go downstairs to eat."

“Okay, I’ll go wash my face and brush my teeth.” Hao Ren walked towards the bathroom on the second floor.

"You weren't in your own room last night, were you" Hao Pinghua suddenly asked.

Hao Ren was somewhat surprised and cautious as he looked at Hao Zhonghua. "Hm"

“I wanted to have a father-son talk with you privately, but you weren't in your room yesterday.” Hao Zhonghua continued.

"This…..." Hao Ren didn’t know how to explain it and felt that things were going downhill.

"You were at Yujia's room" Hao Zhonghua stared intently at Hao Ren, asking slowly.

"No..." Hao Ren had just uttered one character when Hao Zhonghua interrupted him. "With only a few rooms, if he's not in his own room, he must be in Rainia’s room. At your age, it's normal to act impulsively; Dad hopes you won’t let Rainia down."

Hao Zhonghua spoke very steadily, with deep meaning in his eyes.

Looking at him, Hao Ren truly didn't know what to say. Indeed, following the conventional logic, there was no way he could have jumped out of a second-floor window without having a key for this house and sneaking back in undetected; the only possibility left was that Hao Ren had been staying in Xie Rainia’s room.

By the time Hao Zhonghua was at Hao Ren's age, he already had Hao Ren, so he could "understand" Hao Ren.

"Men should take responsibility," Hao Zhonghua patted Hao Ren on the shoulder and walked towards the stairs.

"Erm..." Hao Ren stared at his broad back for a few seconds before suddenly realizing that what Dad said wasn't entirely without reason.

After finishing his morning hygiene routine, Hao Ren went to the first-floor dining room to eat Xie Rainia’s mother's homemade breakfast. Soon after, Xie Rainia came down from the second floor.

She wore white slippers and a pair of short denim shorts with a clean white shirt, exuding an American girl’s carefree charm while still having the unique gentleness of an Eastern girl.

"Hehe, Rainia. Why did you sleep so late" Hao Zhonghua, sipping his milk, greeted Xie Rainia warmly.

Knowing what this "bad boy" had done, he felt more affectionate towards Xie Rainia.

"I was chatting with Mom and went to bed very late," replied Xie Rainia with a smile.

Her smile was sweet and comfortable, like warm milk.

"Chatting with Mom..." he was somewhat puzzled and immediately asked again, "Then where did your dad sleep"

"He slept in my room. My mom and I had a private mother-daughter conversation, so he went to sleep in my room," Xie Yujia smiled and walked in front of Hao Zhonghua, speaking with ease.

A private mother-daughter conversation…Hao Ren drank milk as he thought that it was always like this…

He looked up at the matured red apple-like Xie Yujia, and couldn’t help but wonder what kind of private conversation she had with her mom.

Hao Ren didn’t care about the missed conversation between him and his dad. He could easily guess in his mind what Hao Zhonghua would talk about.

Hao Zhonghua looked at Xie Yujia, then at Hao Ren. Even with his genius-level brain, he was a bit confused… If Xie Yujia was chatting with her mom and Hao Ren wasn’t in the room, where did he sleep

He turned to look at the two-meter tall Xie Wanjun who was eating butter bread beside the table, immediately bringing his gaze back.

This kid must have been in the bathroom when I visited twice… Thought Hao Zhonghua. He thought that he was in Yujia’s room and felt disappointed for nothing.

"Today, let's go out together! There are several good coffee shops!" Xie Ming said with enthusiasm.

Last night, Xie Yujia chatted secretly with her mom all night long, which forced him to sleep in another room. He felt a bit helpless but was still happy that his daughter came back to spend time with her parents. Especially as an old friend, Hao Zhonghua and his son were guests at his home this time, so he wanted to treat them well.

"Alright… Alright…" Hao Zhonghua had been to New York several times before and was actually quite familiar with the city. It was on his previous visit when he met Xie Ming by chance that both families finally reconnected again.

Now, it was a delightful thing for them to bring their kids along and walk around in downtown New York City together.

Unfortunately, Yue Yang didn’t come. She preferred Little Purple…Hao Fenghua thought with some regret.

They often argued about scientific methods but were always on the same page when it came to daily life and never had any quarrels.

However..., the couple had lived in harmony for many years, but they suddenly disagreed on whether she should be named Xie Yujia or Zhao Yanzǐ.

"Yes! Our two families went out to play together! It's too bad that Yuèyáng didn't come!" Cheng Xi untied her apron and said somewhat regretfully.

Back then, she had a very good relationship with Yuèyáng. While Hǎo Zhōnghuá and Xiè Míng would discuss national affairs, the two women would chat about children while tidying up.

Cheng Xi still misses these black-and-white memories from over ten years ago.

If Yuèyáng had come to New York this time, as their status as mothers, they could have settled the marriage of their two children. While Cheng Xi was disappointed at not seeing Yuèyáng, she also felt another layer of regret.

"Summer is when coastal areas experience the most complex climate changes; Yuèyáng has just been promoted to deputy director of the provincial meteorological bureau this year and holds a higher rank than me with greater responsibilities. He certainly can't leave." Hǎo Zhōnghuá said with a self-deprecating smile.

Actually, privately, Yuèyáng was inclined towards Zhao Yanzǐ, but he still felt an affinity for Xie Yujia's family. Despite her surface argument with Hǎo Zhōnghuá, given the opportunity, she would have liked to visit Xiè Míng and Cheng Xi in New York.

"Alright, don't think I don't know; you're older than her outside the home but younger inside it. Your decisions, which one doesn’t Yuèyáng support" Xiè Míng picked up a bunch of keys, "Come on, let me show you around New York!"

Seeing them tease each other, Hǎo Rén and Xie Yujia looked at each other and laughed without any particular reason. To give Hǎo Rén and Xie Yujia a chance, Xiè Wanjun tactfully didn’t follow them, nor did his parents who were looking after the factory. Xiè Míng drove a white Chevrolet across the Brooklyn Bridge to take the four of them leisurely around Manhattan.

With this old New Yorker leading the way, Hǎo Rén and Xie Yujia truly experienced a completely different flavor of New York from their self-guided tour yesterday. When she first visited New York with her father, Xie Yujia had felt nothing special about it, but now that she was with Hǎo Rén, everything seemed new and exciting to her. Xiè Míng was in high spirits, recounting all sorts of interesting anecdotes without pause, making even Hǎo Rén marvel at the depth of Xie Yujia’s father's knowledge; if he hadn’t been in business, he would certainly be a well-known scholar! Xie Yujia leaned close to Hǎo Rén, looking into the reflections of the glass windows and treasuring their time together.

From her little brother when she was young to today’s Hǎo Rén, it formed a perfect circle.

Suddenly, Xie Yujia saw in the reflection a beautiful girl wearing a very short skirt.

"Big... bro!"o Ren fiddling with the computer."It's none of your business."Hao Ren turned the laptop towards himself to avoid Zhou Liren's sight and inserted Xie Yujia’s CD into it. The sound of the disc being rea...
